Unpacking

Everything comes in one flat box. Lay it on the floor next to the bed and open it at the top. The tabletop parts sit loosely in protective foam, along with the manual and a small bag of screws.

Take everything out and lay it out in a row, so you can see at a glance whether you have everything.

Tip: The box is long but not heavy. Carry it into the bedroom with two people, that way the corners stay intact.

Questions about assembly

Can I assemble the DreamDesk on my own?

Yes, that works. The frame and the tabletop aren't heavy, but lifting with two people is more comfortable, especially when you need to carry the box upstairs and when the tabletop goes onto the frame.

What tools do I need?

The screws and the manual are in the box. A cordless screwdriver makes it faster, but a regular screwdriver works too.

How long does assembly take?

That varies from person to person, so take your time. The frame comes together fastest; the tabletop needs the most attention because you screw the parts together from below. The videos on this page show you exactly what to do at every step.

How do I adjust the height?

With the knobs on the legs. Loosen them, slide the leg to the desired height and tighten them again. The DreamDesk goes from 80 to 110 cm.

A part is missing, what now?

We will sort that out. Email a photo of what you did receive to info@dreamdesk.nl with your order number and we will send you the missing part.

Can I take it apart again later?

Yes. Moving house or storing it temporarily is no problem: you loosen the screws and the tabletop and frame go flat again.
